Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott was born upon July 9, 1946, in Forfar, a small town in Scotland. He was the earliest of four brother or sisters, as well as ultimately, his family made a decision to relocate to Melbourne, Australia, in 1952. Scott revealed an interest in songs from a young age, specifically in vocal singing and drumming, and quickly ended up being associated with the local rock scene. He went to Sunshine Primary School as well as later on Sunshine High School, creating close friendships with people that shared his passion for songs.

In the early 1960s, Scott played drums for a number of local bands and eventually signed up with the Spektors, an established Australian band, as a co-lead vocalist. The band later on merged with the Winstons to create the Valentines, which delighted in moderate success in the late 1960s. The band launched a number of singles but dissolved in 1970 as a result of internal disputes.

Scott then signed up with the progressive rock band Fraternity, where he played groove, recorder, as well as carried out lead vocals. The band released two albums, Livestock and Flaming Galah, however inevitably dissolved in 1973. Scott married Irene Thornton throughout his time with Fraternity, but their relationship ended in a divorce in 1977 due to Scott's substance abuse problems.

In 1974, Scott began his journey with the popular rock band AC/DC, founded by siblings Angus as well as Malcolm Young. Originally, he was worked with as the drummer yet quickly transitioned to the placement of lead singer. His effective, raw vocals, paired with Angus Young's electrifying guitar sounds, formed the classic AC/DC noise that's still preferred today. Scott's unique phase visibility, a combination of charm, wit, as well as energy, came to be an indispensable part of AC/DC's real-time performances.

With Scott as the lead singer, AC/DC released their debut album, High Voltage, in 1975. The band promptly acquired momentum with the launch of a number of successful documents, including T.N.T., High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and Let There Be Rock. In 1979, their album Highway to Hell hit the worldwide market, making AC/DC a household name.

Unfortunately, Bon Scott's life was unfortunately shortened on February 19, 1980, when he was discovered dead in a pal's auto in London. His death was credited to acute alcohol poisoning as well as its succeeding consequences. He was 33 years of ages.

Scott's unexpected death marked completion of an era for AC/DC, yet the band determined to continue making music in his memory. They launched the cd Back in Black later in 1980, including brand-new diva Brian Johnson. The cd, committed to Scott, turned into one of the best-selling cds of perpetuity.

Bon Scott's life was a rollercoaster trip full of enormous ability, interest, battle, and tragedy. His influence on rock-and-roll as well as the heritage he left with AC/DC continues to motivate countless musicians and also fans worldwide.
