Goldie Jeanne Hawn (original name Stundlendgehawn) is an American actor. For her role as "Toni Simmons' in the movie Cactus Flower, she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. Her daughter Kate Hudson is a famous Oscar-nominated actress, Son Oliver Hudson is also television and film actor.

Hawn began early with ballet and stepping. She made her stage debut as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet in 1961 and debuted as a professional dancer in Can-Can in 1964.

In 1967-68 she had a role in the TV sitcom Good Morning, World. Later she made a name for himself as one of the regular players in the sketch-show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, where she portrayed a happy giggle blonde, but with a precise replica transfer. This took her with them in three feature films in 1970: Butterflies are Free, There's a Girl in My Soup and Cactus Flower. For the latter, in which she starred opposite Walter Matthau and Ingrid Bergman, she got her supporting actress Oscar.

In 1970 - and 1980's played Hawn into a number of films and had a reputation as a brilliant comedian. For the title role in Saving Private Benjamin, she was nominated for an Oscar. Gradually it became more quiet around her, but the films Death Becomes Her (1992) and First Wives Club (1996) showed that she was still among the best in his rollefag. In the latter film helped her also to sing Lesley Gore's "You Do not Own Me".
