Sheryl Suzanne Crow (born in Kennett, Missouri) is an American rock singer, actor and songwriter. She wrote her first song when she was 13 years and has since taken a university degree in music.

Before Crow started his solo career, she worked as a backup singer for, among others, Michael Jackson, Sting, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Foreigner, Joe Cocker, Sinead O'Connor and Don Henley. She has also written songs along with Wynonna Judd, Celine Dion and Eric Clapton.

Crow got his first hit in 1994 with the song "All I Wanna Do." In 1995 she won three Grammy Awards and has recorded soundtracks and participated in a number of films.

Crow was engaged to cyclist Lance Armstrong, but this relationship ended in the spring of 2006.
