Biography

William Brooke Joyce was a fascist politician and propagandist for Nazi Germany during World War II, best known as one of the voices behind the nickname Lord Haw-Haw. He was sentenced to three cases of high treason and executed. The death sentence was very controversial when it questioned whether a state had no right to judge anyone for treason if they were not citizens of the country in which the offense was directed towards. Joyce was in fact an American citizen.
