Synopsis
The 2008 film "27 Dresses" is a romantic funny directed by Anne Fletcher. It focuses around the life of Jane Nichols, played by Katherine Heigl, an altruistic young woman who actually can't state no when asked to be a bridesmaid. Jane discovers herself constantly being the bridesmaid while dreaming of her own romance.

The Bridesmaid Forever
Jane Nichols is an exceptionally organized lady who works as a personal assistant to her employer, George, whom she is privately in love with. Jane has been a bridesmaid for 27 wedding events, holding to the belief of making other people's spiritual day perfect. She invests her time organizing other people's wedding events rather of concentrating on her own love life. Her obsession with wedding events stems from her mom's death when she was young, leading her to fill the void with others' pleased minutes.

Unrequited Love and Unexpected Twist
Jane produces a perfect picture of a perfect man through her manager George, who she has been secretly in love with for many years. George, despite the fact that aware of Jane's romantic sensations towards him, establishes affections for her younger sis, Tess. Tess manipulates George by pretending to share his interests, making Jane's love life more complicated and heartbreaking.

New Love and Self-realization
On the other hand, Jane's various functions as a bridesmaid catch the attention of Kevin Doyle, played by James Marsden, a negative wedding event columnist who is initially only interested in Jane for a story. Nevertheless, things deviate when Kevin discovers himself falling in love with Jane. On the other hand, Kevin exposes he is the wedding event column author Jane appreciates, causing a fight in between them as Jane feels tricked.

Ultimately, Jane recognizes that she loves Kevin, and shows up at his door to admit her sensations. The movie ends on a pleased note with Jane marrying Kevin and all the 27 bride-to-bes whose weddings she had belonged of now in the function of her bridesmaids, wearing the outfits she had previously worn.
