Introduction
"Alien Resurrection" is a 1997 American science fiction scary film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, written by Joss Whedon, and starring Sigourney Weaver and Winona Ryder. It is the fourth installment in the Alien film series, following the 1992 film "Alien 3".

Plot
The film takes place 200 years after the occasions of "Alien 3". Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) has been cloned using her DNA combined with that of an Alien's, with the intent of utilizing the resulting Alien Queen to reproduce more Xenomorphs. The United Systems Military, who are running the experiment, hope to utilize the Xenomorphs as weapons.

Characters
