Jim is an average New Yorker living a peaceful life with a well paying job and a loving family. Suddenly, everything changes when the economy crashes causing Jim to lose everything. Filled with anger and rage, Jim snaps and goes to extreme lengths to seek revenge for the life taken from him.

The movie follows a blue-collar security personnel named Jim (Dominic Purcell), who decides to look for revenge against the corrupt Wall Street system after he loses his home, task, and spouse due to the recession.

Plot Summary
The film begins with the intro of Jim, an average New Yorker working as an armored lorry guard and living a typical life with his better half Rosie, who struggles with a terminal illness. They manage to stay afloat economically thanks to Jim's cost savings, financial investments, and Rosie's health insurance. However, as the 2008 financial collapse looms ahead, Jim's financial advisor recommends him to invest his retirement cost savings in a supposedly appealing hedge fund.

The economic recession hits, and the investors lose their money, consisting of Jim, who is exposed to have been controlled into buying the high-risk fund intentionally. As a result, he loses his life cost savings, plunges into debt, and his insurance company cancels Rosie's policy causing her to lose her life due to lack of healthcare. As his life collapses around him, and he loses his job due to cutbacks, Jim decides to retaliate versus the Wall Street players who contributed to his failure.

Looking for Revenge
Jim carries out an extreme training regimen to prepare himself to wage a one-man war against Wall Street. His targets are the legal and monetary entities, including his fraudulent consultants and the executives of his previous insurance company. He stages his attacks carefully, producing panic in the monetary district and drawing attention from the media, while law enforcement struggles to discover and stop him.

Last Act
In the climactic ending, Jim infiltrates a glamourous gala occasion, planning to strike against Jeremy Stancroft (John Heard), the CEO of the deceitful hedge fund. In a confrontation, Jim handles to eliminate both Stancroft and his accomplice, Mary Jean (Rebecca De Mornay), guaranteeing his revenge is total.

Ending
The movie concludes with Jim on his knees surrounded by police authorities. However, in an ironic twist, he is not captured. The police, represented by Detective Frank (Edward Furlong), reveal sympathy for his cause, allowing him to stroll totally free.
