Athena (2010)

Chuck, a loner who had better days, runs a Halliday store in the middle of Californian desert. Customers are rare and he has only one regular, old Bill, who never fails to appear each and every morning and invariably buys a cup of coffee and a pack of cigarettes. But at a time his routine is broken when two living creatures get into his life. One is a - chicken which takes to him and that he will call "Athena". The other one is a charming hiker by the name of Patricia who chooses to stop at his place for some time. Both will help him to get his feet back on the ground.
