The Truth Unveiled As the plot thickens, the story takes a turn when Liz finds out about Devon's genuine character. She discovers that Devon's obsession is not just with her child but that he has a history of stalking and manipulating women. In a particularly troubling scene, Liz looks into Devon, checking out his past and finding that he had been formerly implicated of harassment and stalking. After a conflict with his former victim, Liz finds out that Devon had even driven her to try suicide.
