Plot:
The film is embeded in the year 1925 in the rural town of Nome, Alaska. Balto, the lead character, is a young and rapid wolf-dog hybrid who is typically ostracized due to his half-wolf heritage. Balto is incredibly quickly, and despite his combined lineage, he dreams of being a sled canine. He loves a female dog called Jenna, who is owned by a girl struggling with diphtheria.
