Love and Betrayal
The cruelty of crime-fighting is sprinkled with the budding love in between Catwoman and Batman. Batman reveals his secret identity to Catwoman, additional deepening their bond. Nevertheless, the on-going attack perpetuated by Hush cause a fracture in their relationship. Batman later discovers that Hush is none other than among his youth buddy Tommy Elliot who faked his own death. However, in a twist, the genuine puppeteer behind the diligently planned assaults is exposed to be Riddler, who had acquired near-immortality and increased intelligence after an experimental treatment. It's also clarified that the Riddler had developed a ruse of 'Hush' with Tommy Elliot's face to misguide Batman.

In the last face-off, Batman handles to conquer Riddler and his pawns, before Riddler falls to his own hubris.

"Batman: Hush" revolves around the styles of love, suspicion, mob law, and the Batman's internal battle over the line in between justice and revenge.
