Jennifer Lopez convincingly brings the character of Gabriela on screen, radiating an undeniable appeal, while showcasing a character struggling in the middle of harsh circumstances.

Crisis and Climax
After recognizing that the pendant is beneath their house, Victor convinces Jason to go out to the sea, but Jason rather injures Victor and swims back to shore. In her desperation, Suzanne sells the locket, meaning to leave however is confronted by Alex. They fight, and Suzanne is inadvertently killed. Meanwhile, Victor catches his injuries. Alex finds a note from Jason informing him that he'll look after Gabriela.
