Introduction
"Diabolically Yours" (French: Diaboliquement vôtre) is a 1967 French-German-Italian psychological thriller film directed by Julien Duvivier and starring Michèle, George and Senta Berger and the music was given by François de Roubaix. The film, influenced by the story 'Captive' by Yvan Yankovsky, includes a detailed noir plot with a touch of timeless French cinema. It follows the story of a guy suffering from amnesia while struggling to compare truth and creativity.

Plot
The film starts with Pierre Lakdar (played by Alain Delon) getting up in a medical facility after a cars and truck accident, without any memory of his past or identity. The doctor tells him he's a wealthy entrepreneur who resides in a luxurious chateau with his better half, Christiane (played by Senta Berger). Due to his amnesia, Pierre describes himself as "Georges" and starts to adjust to this brand-new life, constantly questioning his previous actions, desiring to restore his memory.

Upon going back to the luxurious estate, Pierre meets Milazzo, the driver, who displays a sinister and cold temperament. He also satisfies Kim (played by George), the couple's Chinese manservant who practices acupuncture. Pierre has a hard time to regain his memories and persistently questions his past life and Christiane's love for him. He becomes suspicious of her behavior and begins to believe that something odd is taking place around him.

As Pierre wastes away in his amnesia, Christiane grows far-off, and Kim ingratiates himself into his trust. Pierre experiences frightening problems that lead him to think that he personally took part in or possibly saw a murder prior to his mishap. Uncertain of his true nature, Pierre begins to question individuals around him, consisting of Christiane, Kim, his good friends, and physicians.

Suspense and Psychological Thriller
As the plot unfolds, Pierre's trust in both Christiane and Kim starts to unravel. The movie highlights the sense of mental drama with a variety of aesthetically remarkable cinematography methods, like severe close-ups and fast series that produce a sense of anxiousness and urgency for the viewer.

The thriller heightens when Pierre discovers that his other half has been having an affair with his friend, Francois. As Pierre regains a few of his memory, he believes that Christiane and her enthusiast are plotting together to drive him crazy and steal his fortune.

In a stunning series of events, Christiane and her enthusiast dedicate suicide, and Pierre discovers Kim's true ominous nature: a professional therapist who manipulated him into thinking he was experiencing amnesia to take advantage of his wealth. Kim's acupuncture treatments were a way of controlling Pierre and inducing his scary problems. The revelation that Pierre was innocent and a victim of Kim's diabolical intentions reveals the truth that Pierre was never a murderer.

Conclusion
In the end, Pierre risks his life to avenge his spouse and lover's deaths, finding Kim at his hideaway. As they confront one another, Pierre barely leaves with his life, eliminating Kim in a surge. Lastly free from Kim's wicked clutches, he restores his complete memory and is able to begin rebuilding his life.

"Diabolically Yours" develops a gripping atmosphere of deception, fear, and control. Its mix of sensational cinematography, appealing efficiencies, and a suspenseful plot highlights the movie's special blend of noir, psychological thriller, and French cinema. It's a thought-provoking expedition of identity, trust, and the ominous intricacies of the human mind, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats until the shocking conclusion.
