A CIA agent is interned for failing to kill an international terrorist. Escaping from his island exile, he teams up with a flamboyant arms dealer and sets out to find the terrorist and rescue the agent's family. Together they're a two-man arsenal... with enough voltage to rock the free world.

Intro

Plot

Without any other choice, Quinn breaks out of The Colony with a harmful strategy. He heads to Antwerp, where he teams up with eccentric arms dealer Yaz, represented by Dennis Rodman. Collaborating, the duo heads to a fair inside a Roman coliseum, hosted by Stavros to challenge him and rescue Quinn's family.

Last Showdown
In a thrilling climax embeded in a booby-trapped Colosseum, Quinn battles Stavros, while wild tigers are being launched onto the flooring. Amidst this turmoil, Yaz appears in a Coca Cola truck, running over the tigers. Quinn finally dominates Stavros amidst the explosions and falling particles. After the battle, Quinn probably dies, whereas in reality, he and Yaz phony Quinn's death to deceive the enforcers of The Colony.

Analysis
"Double Team" is a quintessential 90s action film, loaded with over-the-top stunts, dry wit, and epic characters.
