Judy Garland, known in the film as Judy Bellaire, gets expelled from a boarding school for performing her initial Jazz music versus the school's norm of playing classical symphonies. Upon her return house, it's clear her parents are preoccupied with their own exploits leaving Judy to her devices. To support her love for jazz, Judy develops a plan to perform in her father's having a hard time theatre show that exclusively includes operettas.

Main Characters
In her remarkably maiden motion picture, Judy Garland masterfully portrays the function of Judy Bellaire, an effervescent teenager with an extensive love for jazz who is at odds with her household and academic community. Fanny Brice, as Olga St. Claire, stands out for her delightful comedic efficiency and her character embodies the significant, yet caring mother figure. Allan Jones plays the function of Ricky Saboni, a skilled and captivating vocalist deeply in love with the family's eldest daughter, Sylvia (played by Lynne Carver), who disappoints him by succumbing to a phony Russian prince.

Music and Comedy
"Everybody Sing" is characterized by its unified mix of music and comedy. Judy Garland's singing expertise is displayed perfectly, particularly with her performance of "Swing, Mr. Mendelssohn", which completely encapsulates her character's enthusiasm for jazz. Allan Jones also mesmerizes viewers with his tenor voice, especially throughout his rendition of "The One I Love". Fanny Brice's comedic timing is another emphasize, with her notable performance as a Russian house maid, more enriching the film's appeal.

Conclusion
Garnering regard for its music, funny, and attention to character development, "Everybody Sing" inspires audiences about the power of enthusiasm and perseverance. It highlights the St. Claire family's strategic efforts in navigating their specific goals, resulting in a heart-warming and interesting plot.
