Brian, Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Chris Bridges), Han (Sung Kang), and Gisele (Gal Gadot) sign up with Dom's team. They collaborate to prevent Shaw's strategy to build a fatal device that could disrupt governments worldwide.

The Search For Letty & The Fights Against Shaw
As the team battle against Shaw, they also strive to jog Letty's memory of her past (she suffers from amnesia). In the meantime, Brian leaves the team for two days to check out a jail in the U.S. in search of responses about Letty's apparent death and her connection to Shaw, which he later discloses to Mia.

Regular action-packed conflicts take place, culminating in a gripping battle including a massive cargo airplane, the group's cars and trucks, and Shaw's weaponized car. Dom and the others outmaneuver and overpower Shaw's team, however Gisele sacrifices herself to save Han from one of Shaw's henchmen.

Climax & Conclusion
In the climax, Dom faces off versus Shaw while trying to conserve Letty on the aircraft. Letty eventually restores her memory, and she conserves Dom by shooting Riley (Gina Carano) - Hobbs' previous partner who betrayed them for Shaw - out of the aircraft's rear exit. Dom, driving a cars and truck out of the burning plane, rejoins his group, who believe him to be dead until they see him hopping towards them from the wreckage.

In the after-effects, Hobbs grants full pardons to the team, clearing their rap sheets and allowing them to return to the U.S. Participating in a yard barbecue at Dom's old home, a sense of peace comes down upon the team, who have actually lastly made it back house. The movie closes on a poignant note, with a toast to family.

Credits Scene
The standalone stinger scene exposes that Han's death in Tokyo (which was displayed in the 3rd film in the series, 'Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift') was not an accident. The perpetrator shown is none besides British Special Forces assassin Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), Owen's older brother, setting the stage for 'Furious 7,' the next installation in the franchise.
