"Grease 2" is a film follow up to the hit musical "Grease" directed by Patricia Birch and launched in 1982. Despite carrying the title, the cast and primary plot are entirely different from its predecessor, with stars featuring Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield playing the lead roles. The movie is embeded in the same high school, Rydell High, in 1961, 2 years after the original motion picture.

Plot
The story centers around Michael Carrington (Maxwell Caulfield), a British exchange trainee, and Stephanie Zinone (Michelle Pfeiffer), the leader of the school's girl gang, the Pink Ladies. Michael succumbs to Stephanie however finds it hard to get her attention due to her interest in dating a gang member. In reaction, Michael transforms into a mysterious motorbike fanatic called the 'Cool Rider' to win her heart.

Character Development
Throughout the movie, two main stories unfold. The romantic storyline between Michael and Stephanie is subtly unraveled with Michael's improvement into his change ego. All at once, the film portrays the friendly competition between the male gang, the T-Birds, and the female gang, the Pink Ladies. Michael's change and adoption of the 'cool rider' personality tosses a wrench into these characteristics leading to unforeseen confrontations and alliances.

Setting
Like its predecessor, "Grease 2" takes place in Rydell High School, a fictitious American suburban high school. One of the significant scenes happens at the school's bowling alley, where Stephanie's love for the 'Cool Rider' emerges. The movie showcases some unforgettable minutes during the yearly "Luau", a themed party where the huge confrontation in between the two rival gangs happens.

Musical Features
