Movie Summary

Plot
The movie starts with a flashback from 1939 featuring Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, Hellboy's adoptive father and previous representative of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D). He and a group of vigilantes are in action to stop the bloodthirsty vampire goddess, Erzsebet Ondrushko, who was terrifying visitors in a Romanian village. The teacher and his group achieve success in their mission, however instead of eliminating Erzsebet, they imprison her in iron maiden which they seal within the castle.

Fast-forward to today, Professor Bruttenholm informs Hellboy, Liz, and Abe of a haunting in a Hamptons mansion. Professor Bruttenholm believes the vampire goddess might be behind the paranormal activity.

Conflict and Resolution
Upon their arrival at the Hamptons, the staff member separate and explore different areas of the mansion. Everyone experiences ghostly phenomenon. Hellboy encounters Erzsebet who is found consuming the vital force of numerous party visitors she lured to the estate. Meanwhile, Bruttenholm faces off Hecate, the Greek Goddess of Witches, who is revealed to be the one behind Erzsebet's resurrection.
