Film Summary
"Holidays" is a 2016 American horror anthology film directed by numerous directors including Kevin Smith, Gary Shore, Adam Egypt Mortimer, Scott Stewart, Nicholas McCarthy, Dennis Widmyer, Kevin Kolsch, Sarah Adina Smith and Anthony Scott Burns. The motion picture is an expedition of our dark fascinations and superstitious notions, presenting the audience with 8 distinct, macabre narratives centered around different widely-celebrated holidays: Valentine's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's Eve.

Valentine's Day
The very first sector, "Valentine's Day", follows a high school outcast who is non-stop bullied and establishes a crush on her athletic and high-handed swim coach. After getting a Valentine's Day gift-- a heart-- which hints at true intentions, the story takes a dark turn that includes murder and an unconventional love confession.

St. Patrick's Day
The "St. Patrick's Day" sector is a chilling tale of an instructor, who, after getting a cursed gift from one of her creepy students, conceives with a reptile-like creature. The story mixes elements of horror and surrealism, ending with the teacher seemingly content with her monstrous offspring.

Easter
"Easter", is a frightening tale where a young girl comes across a creepy crossbreed of the Easter bunny and Jesus Christ, who requires a shocking sacrifice from her.

Mother's Day
"Mother's Day" informs the story of a female who gets pregnant every time she has sex, and thus travels to a weird desert fertility ritual for aid. The story ends on a chilling note with her giving birth to something unnatural and loathsome.

Daddy's Day
"Father's Day" is a spooky story following a woman who gets a strange tape from her long-lost dad, assisting her to a weird and disturbing location.

Halloween
The "Halloween" section, directed by Kevin Smith, follows three webcam ladies who retaliate on their exploitative supervisor. They turn him into a wailing monstrous figure, requiring him to experience the physical discomfort he had actually subjected them to.

Christmas
"Christmas" tells the story of a male who obtains a modern Christmas present for his son by suspicious means. However, he has to pay an awful price when the gift reveals his darkest tricks.

New Year's Eve
The last section, "New Year's Eve", provides a nervy encounter between a homicidal man and a female at a New Year's celebration, both psychopaths on the course of fear, ending in a strange expression of deadly romance.

"Each section in "Holidays" stands out, with significantly different styles and tones, reflecting the unique creative expertise of their particular directors. Regardless of being focused around widely-celebrated, jubilant holidays, they extract the underlying darkness and savagery in human nature. This film supplies its audience with chilling horror and thought-provoking narratives, culminating in an abundant scheme of dread-filled delight.
