To keep Jonathan far from Mavis, Dracula turn to different distractions, like disguising Jonathan as a beast and arranging a faux-hate campaign versus people. However, when Mavis and Jonathan's sensations for each other grow stronger, Dracula needs to confront his prejudice against people.

Things take a turn when Jonathan is exposed as a human, causing a turmoil amongst the guests. Among the chaos, Mavis confesses her love for Jonathan, and the latter is required to leave the hotel. Following some introspection and recommendations from his good friends, Dracula recognizes his mistake. He flies into the human world to bring Jonathan back, confessing that he was incorrect about human beings, resulting in a heartwarming reunion in between Jonathan and Mavis.
