Michael D'Angelo is a washed-up alcoholic cop. Demoted from his job and living in the past, he takes out his pain by exploring the nightlife of Los Angeles. Theresa, the only woman he's ever loved, is a powerful Assistant D.A. married to a prominent doctor, Peter, and is about to take on the most important case of her firm's history. Plot Summary
