Plot Summary

At the same time, Raj assists three of the trainees, Vicky, Sameer, and Karan fall in love with Ishika, Sanjana, and Kiran, respectively. Their romance form the sub-plots of the movie.

Ishika (Shamita Shetty) is a rich and spoilt woman who falls in love with Vicky (Uday Chopra). Sanjana (Preeti Jhangiani) is engaged to somebody else, but Sameer's (Jugal Hansraj) appeal wins her heart. Karan (Jimmy Shergill) falls for Kiran (Kim Sharma), the widow of his ex-colleague.

Twist in the Tale
As the movie progresses, it is exposed that Raj was one of the trainees expelled by Shankar years ago for his love affair with Shankar's child, Megha (Aishwarya Rai). Unable to bear dad's rage, Megha had actually devoted suicide, which turned Raj into a cynical person who now looks for to change the Gurukul's overbearing atmosphere.

Dispute Resolution
The climax unfolds when Narayan, adamant about preserving his guidelines, threatens to expel any student who violates them. In reaction, Raj uses to leave if anybody is expelled, which leads the students to admit their love in front of Narayan freely. Recognizing his authority's prospective damage on his students' lives, Narayan reevaluates his concepts. He remembers his daughter's love for Raj and softens towards Raj's viewpoint of love.

End of the Film
In the end, "Mohabbatein" brings an emotional and significant closure as Narayan resigns from his position, accepting love as a fundamental part of life and thus admitting his defeat to Raj's approach. Raj, at the exact same time, fulfills his mission of changing Gurukul's repressive environment as the school starts to accept the idea of love.
