"Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" is a fantasy-adventure film that was released in 2010. The story follows Percy Jackson, a young boy who finds he is the boy of Poseidon, the Greek God of the Sea, and is hence a half-blood. Plot Summary
The movie begins with Percy Jackson, a teen living in New York, uninformed of his heritage and fighting with dyslexia and ADHD. After Zeus's lightning bolt, the most powerful weapon in the universe, is stolen, Percy is implicated of the theft due to his strange identity. Percy discovers himself at Camp Half-Blood, a training school for demigods, where he learns more about his true parentage and his paranormal capabilities.

The Quest
Percy, together with his pals Annabeth (a child of Athena) and Grover (a satyr), embarks on a daring mission across America to clear his name and prevent a war among the gods. This objective involves discovering the lightning bolt and returning it to Olympus before the summer season solstice. The trio come in person with monstrous creatures and unsafe challenges, including Medusa, the Hydra, and the Lotus-Eaters.

Significant Revelation
As the trio ventures through their mission, Percy discovers that his buddy, Luke, a child of Hermes, was the genuine burglar. Luke confesses that he plans to topple the Olympians and establish a brand-new judgment order with him as the leader. In a climactic conflict, Percy fights Luke and recovers the lightning bolt.

Conclusion
Returning to Olympus, Percy offers the lightning bolt back to Zeus, clearing his name and preventing the impending war. His courage and bravery gain him the recognition and respect of the Olympians.
