Plot
Pippi Longstocking sets sails for Villa Villekulla, after the storm makes her father, Captain Efraim Longstocking, vanish at sea. Pippi, with her monkey Mr. Nilsson and horse, lives alone in Villa Villekulla, her family's old home, where she lives according to her own guidelines, creating a world of fun, warping reality with her imagination, and declining to mature following social norms.

The story brings in sadness when Pippi recognizes she is alone. Nevertheless, she quickly discovers solace in two kids from the area: Tommy and Annika Settergren. Pippi, Tommy, and Annika embark on several adventures together, defying usual kid constraints with Pippi's strength and creativity.
