Overview
"Setup" is a 2011 crime drama movie directed by Mike Gunther and written by Mike Behrman and Gunther. The film stars popular actors like Bruce Willis, Ryan Phillippe, and 50 Cent who plays a character named Sonny. The story unfolded in Detroit and focused on themes of relationship, betrayal, vengeance, and the search for justice.

Plot
The story of "Setup" begins with three friends; Vincent (Ryan Phillippe), Sonny (50 Cent) and Dave (Brett Granstaff). The threesome execute what was indicated to be a regular burglary operation that went wrong. Their relationship quickly turns sour when Vincent betrays Sonny by shooting him, leaving him for dead.

The scheme involved taking 5 Million dollars in diamonds, which Vincent handles to disappear with following his double-crossing act. Incredibly, Sonny makes it through the experience and after that tries to look for vengeance on Vincent for his betrayal. To achieve this, he teams up with a mob employer called Biggs (Bruce Willis).

Towards the end of the motion picture, Sonny finds Vincent and saves his girlfriend. An extreme fight ensues in between Sonny, Vincent, and finally Biggs, who comes to the scene. In an unanticipated turn of events, Julie shoots and eliminates Vincent, saving Sonny's life.

Biggs offers Sonny another chance to work with him, exposing that the diamonds were phony and there's a bigger operation underway. Sonny, now highly distrustful and looking for to sever any ties with the world of crime, shoots and kills Biggs. He then leaves with his girlfriend, with the authorities closing in on them for shooting Biggs.
