Online, Ian satisfies Ms. Tasty and begins an online discussion with her. Ms. Tasty, who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, makes a proposal of a sexual encounter if Ian can make the journey from his home town in Chicago.

Adventurous Journey
With the help of Lance, they take Ian's homophobic sibling Rex's (James Marsden) precious Pontiac GTO to embark on the journey. Along the way, they pick up a hitchhiker, Ezekiel (David Koechner), who takes them to a celebration and later on steals their car. The trio then meets a group of Amish people, where they discover their vehicle while seeking help. Among the Amish is an ironical and unconventional character, Fall Out Boy (Seth Green), who helps fix the cars and truck.

Love Triangle
All at once, a love triangle happens when it is exposed that Lance and Felicia have been hooking up secretly. Ian is injured initially, but soon understands that Felicia's actions were more about her feelings for him rather than Lance. They share a kiss, and their relationship starts to develop.

Last Encounter
When they lastly reach Knoxville, Ms. Tasty ends up being a male who tries to steal Rex's vehicle as part of an extensive automobile theft racket. Rex, who has been tracking them and the automobile, shows up and the car thieves are apprehended. After surviving the experience, Ian and Felicia confess their sensations for each other and end up being a couple, while Lance winds up remaining behind with an Amish girl he fulfilled.
