Film Overview

Plot Summary

However, throughout her crowning, she suffers an electrical accident that causes her death, shifting the motion picture to a supernatural genre. When Amber wakes up in the afterlife, she is notified by a guy named Carl, depicted by Tim Gunn, that due to her mean-spirited actions throughout her life time, she is not qualified to enter Heaven.

Redemption Arc
Amber is offered a job to change the socially uncomfortable Lisa Sommers, played by Lindsey Shaw, into the next Blossom Queen within a week to make her place in Heaven. This task impersonates a redemption arc for Amber, who was known for her serious bullying of Lisa while alive. The plot thickens as we see Amber battle initially to connect to Lisa, or see her previous actions from a various lens. Nevertheless, as the plot advances, she starts to empathize with Lisa, transforming her from a shy, straight-A student to a self-confident prospective Blossom Queen.

Result
Throughout the movie, we see Amber struggle to change Lisa without revealing her real identity. At the same time, Amber tries to make amends by also assisting Lisa's love interest, Nick Ramsey, played by Chris Zylka, enhance. Ultimately, Amber's task appears to be achieved as Lisa becomes the Blossom Queen, and Amber finally fine-tunes her mean spirit. She makes peace with her previous actions and ends up being understanding, therefore making her place in Heaven.

Conclusion
"Teen Spirit" is not simply an unneeded film about teenage drama but rather a substantial film about redemption and change.
