Plot Summary

In spite of the capture of a suspect who confesses under pressure and eventually kills himself, Black doesn't think he was the murderer. He vows on his soul to the victim's mother that he will find the killer.

Black's fascination with the case leads him to find two other unsolved murders of girls that bear striking resemblances to the existing case. In order to get closer to the mystery, he purchases a gas station in the location where the killings took place.
