"The Snowman" is a 2017 British criminal activity thriller movie, directed by Tomas Alfredson and produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Robyn Slovo, and Peter Gustafsson. The movie was adapted from the novel of the same name by Jo Nesbø, and starred Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer, and J.K. Simmons.

Plot
The movie concentrates on investigator Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender) from the Oslo Police Department, who investigates the disappearance of a woman whose pink headscarf is discovered ostentatiously wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman. The case bears similarities to old, unsolved murder cases in the city.

Dealing with detective Katrine Bratt (Rebecca Ferguson), the duo starts to link cold cases to the brand-new one, discovering 20 years of serial killings in Norway.
