One spring, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo Bear awake from hibernation to discover three orphaned bear cubs left at the front door of their cave. Despite their initial reservations, Yogi and Boo Boo take the bear cubs into their home and take care of them. Meanwhile, Jellystone Park has gone over budget and the park commissioner orders Ranger Smith to close it down. This means that Yogi, along with the other bears at the park, must be sent to a zoo. Because Yogi can't stand the thought of being cooped up in a zoo for the rest of his life, he hatches an elaborate escape plan. Salvaging car parts from a failed fishing expedition, he constructs a getaway "Supercar," complete with a picnic basket rumble seat for the three orphaned cubs. Together they make their escape from the park to find a new home.

Their mission takes them through a carnival filled with dubious characters, a haunted forest, and a treasure-filled lost city in the desert. Villains
The villains in "Yogi's Great Escape" consist of a greedy circus owner who wants to catch the gang for his circus and a couple of bumbling treasure hunters. These bad guys remain in hot pursuit of Yogi and his little friends, adding an element of adventure and thriller to the storyline.

Reaching the Destination
After getting away from various risks, the group lastly arrives in bright Florida. Satisfied that they've reached a safe house, Yogi and his pals decide to rest. However, they are challenged by animal control as soon as again and are brought back to Jellystone Park.

Resolution
In an unexpected turn of occasions, Jellystone Park is saved from being closed due to the discovery of a surprise gas deposit, which supplies the funds required to keep the park open. Lastly, Yogi, Boo-Boo and their friends continue living freely in their precious home, and Yogi retains his title as the "smarter than the average bear."
