Kindhearted Griffin Keyes is one of the best-loved caretakers at the Franklin Park Zoo, but since he is more comfortable with the animals than with females of his own species, his love life is lacking. When Griffin decides that the only way to get a girlfriend is to find a more-glamorous career, the animals panic. To keep him from leaving, they reveal their secret ability to talk and offer to teach him the rules of courtship, animal-style.

Film Introduction
"Zookeeper" is a 2011 American romantic comedy film directed by Frank Coraci. It stars Kevin James as an adorable zookeeper named Griffin Keyes who is stuck in the middle of a battle between the animal kingdom and the human world. The film also includes distinguished actors such as Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb, and various other celebrities supplying the voices of the animals at the zoo.

Plot Summary
Our story starts with Griffin Keyes proposing to his sweetheart, Stephanie (Leslie Bibb), at the beach in what he thinks is the perfect setting. Unfortunately, Stephanie decreases his proposal since she feels embarrassed by his task as a zookeeper.

Five years later, we see Griffin still as a zookeeper and heartbroken over Stephanie. Griffin's love for Stephanie makes him reassess his profession option and he chooses to leave the zoo, triggering the animals to break their centuries-old silence rule to help him. They think that if they reveal Griffin how to win a mate in the animal kingdom, he might be successful in winning Stephanie's heart, and thus wouldn't need to leave the zoo.

The Animals' Intervention
The animals begin providing Griffin recommendations on drawing in women, based on their animalistic characteristics and impulses. A gorilla named Bernie recommends he be territorial, while a wolf says to mark his territory. However, these tips often wind up getting Griffin into comical and typically embarrassing scenarios.

On the other hand, Griffin begins dating the zoo vet, Kate (Rosario Dawson), who likewise shows interest in him, however Griffin is too captured up in winning Stephanie back to see Kate's sensations. Griffin uses the animals' recommendations in his dates with Stephanie, resulting in some hilarious events.

The Climax
In a surprising turn of events, Stephanie confesses that she still likes Griffin at her sibling's wedding. However, Griffin recognizes his intense sensations for Kate and rebuffs Stephanie's advances. At last, Griffin gets his 'aha minute' and rushes back to the zoo to admit his love for Kate, who is about to fly off for another task. The last scene involves a bold chase, with Griffin and his animal buddies racing against time to stop Kate.

Conclusion
"Zookeeper" concludes with Griffin and Kate confessing their love for each other at the airport prior to she leaves. Griffin eventually decides to stay a zookeeper, and Kate decides not to take the task in another state, instead picking to stick with Griffin at the zoo. The movie draws to a close with the zoo getting upgraded to provide much better centers for the animals. This romantic funny provides heartfelt moments, plenty of laughs, and cleverly uses animals to show the complexities of the human dating world.
