Ludwig Wittgenstein is suggesting that a confession can not just be a declaration of misbehavior that is separate from one's continuous life. Rather, confessions should be an integral and transformative part of one's efforts to alter and improve themselves. In order to really move forward and apologize for past mistakes, one need to actively include the confession into their daily actions and habits, and dedicate to living a new and much better life going forward.
"Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday"
