"A friend to all is a friend to none"

This quote by Aristotle is a suggestion that it is impossible to be a true buddy to everybody. It is very important to be selective in who we pick to be good friends with, as it is difficult to be a true friend to everybody. Being a buddy to all implies that we are unable to give each person the very same level of attention and care that a real buddy should. We can be friendly and kind to everyone, but it is not possible to be a real buddy to everyone. This quote is a reminder that it is necessary to be selective in who we choose to be buddies with, as it is difficult to be a real buddy to everyone. We need to concentrate on building significant relationships with a couple of people, rather than trying to be a good friend to everybody.
