This quote by John Dewey highlights the concept that education need to not exclusively be concentrated on preparing individuals for their future careers or lives, but rather it needs to be about the whole process of learning and growth that happens throughout their lives. Dewey thought that education is something that needs to be integrated into every aspect of an individual's life, and that it ought to be a continuous experience that assists individuals develop their vital thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as their understanding of the world around them.
