This quote by John Osborne is a pointer that no matter how much we may admire and appreciate heroes, they are still human and not divine. We are all developed by God and have our own special strengths and weaknesses. We need to not anticipate perfection from our heroes, as they are simply as flawed as the rest people. We should instead appreciate their courage and strength, and strive to emulate their positive qualities. At the exact same time, we must also recognize that they are not best which we need to not put them on a pedestal. We must strive to be the very best variation of ourselves, and not compare ourselves to others.
