He indicates that the people held at Guantanamo Bay are dangerous as well as will eliminate American people readily. Shrub is suggesting that these individuals can not be reasoned with which other actions have to be taken to safeguard American people. He is also suggesting that he will not slam his follower, suggesting that he will not interfere with the choices of the present head of state. This quote reveals that Bush is aware of the threat positioned by terrorists and is willing to take the necessary actions to safeguard the American people.
