"Nature has never read the Declaration of Independence. It continues to make us unequal"

This quote by Will Durant speaks to the concept that, despite the Declaration of Independence's pronouncement of equality for all, nature still creates inequality amongst people. It is up to us as people to recognize and accept the inequalities that exist worldwide, and to aim to develop a more equitable society. We should recognize that, while we may not be able to manage the situations of our birth, we can still work to develop a more equitable society for all.
