About this Quote

Citium Zeno, a Greek philosopher, reasoned that there is no honor in committing evil deeds. However, death, he believed, can be respectable. For that reason, he concluded that death can not be thought about wicked. To even more this argument, Zeno may have believed that death can be regarded as honorable because it is inescapable and natural. It likewise can serve a greater function, such as compromising one's life for the higher good. In essence, Zeno is mentioning that there are certain actions, like causing damage or causing pain, that are naturally wrong. Nevertheless, facing one's death or sacrificing oneself for a noble cause can be perceived as respectable.
