It recommends that the United States was inspired to go to war in Iraq in order to free the Iraqi individuals from overbearing rule and to make the world a much safer place. This idea was extensively accepted by lots of Americans at the time, as they believed that the war would bring stability to the region and safeguard the United States from possible terrorist risks. Nevertheless, the war in Iraq has been commonly criticized for its absence of success in achieving these objectives. The war has resulted in the deaths of countless civilians, the displacement of countless people, and the destabilization of the area. In spite of the initial intentions of the United States, the war in Iraq has not made the world a more secure place.
