It is vital that we acknowledge and value the variety of our communities, while likewise participating in meaningful discussion about our distinctions. We should make every effort to develop an environment where we can have open and sincere discussions about our beliefs and opinions without worry of judgement or alienation. We need to also acknowledge that our differences can be a source of strength and growth, and that we can learn from one another. By commemorating our variety and debating our differences, we can develop a stronger, more unified neighborhood.
