Linda McCartney was surprised when her other half Paul was apprehended in Japan for having hash in his luggage. She had anticipated him to be released that night, however instead he was kept in a cell. As the days went by, Linda ended up being progressively fearful for Paul's security. She was stressed over the effects of his arrest and the potential for a long-term jail sentence. She was also worried about the effect the arrest would have on their household and their track record. Linda was desperate for Paul to be launched and was filled with anxiety as she awaited news.
