Zakk Wylde (born Jeffrey Phillip Wiedlandt 1 in New Jersey) is an American hefty steel guitarist.
Wylde is the diva, pianist as well as guitarist of Black Label Society. His 3rd band, Pride and also Glory, released the songs cd Pride as well as Glory in 1994 prior to they disbanded the same year. He was a solo artist for some time, but after the unsuccessful acoustic cd Book of Shadows and declined deals to play in Guns N 'Roses, he created the band Black Label Society in 1998. He is also part of Guitar Hero World Tour, the "Zakk Wylde Guitar Duel".
Wylde began playing guitar at age 15. He has also claimed that he typically played 12 hrs a day and often in the leg from when he returned from institution up until he was back at school the following day and after that rest via the day. When he matured, he played in the regional band "Stonehenge". Some years later, he changed the group to "Zyris." In 1987 he approved to come to be an irreversible participant of Ozzy Osbourne's band. He debuted on the album No Rest for the Wicked in 1988.
