Robert Anthony Plant is an English singer and songwriter, best known as lead singer and text writer of Led Zeppelin. He has also had a successful solo career. In 2007 he released Raising Sand, an album produced by T-Bone Burnett with American bluegrass soprano Alison Krauss, who water the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2009.
With a career of more than 40 years the host plant considered one of the most important singers in rock history rob, and has influenced contemporary singers like Freddie Mercury and Axl Rose.
