This quote by Bill Gothard speaks to the power of example. It recommends that the best method to reach somebody is not simply through words, however through actions. When we prepare a message in our minds, we are simply thinking about what we wish to say. However, when we prepare a message in our lives, we are actively living out what we wish to interact. This is a lot more effective way to reach somebody, as it reveals them what we believe and how we live. It is a method of demonstrating our values and beliefs, instead of simply talking about them. By living out our message, we can have a much greater impact on those around us.
