On one hand, authors need to have a deep understanding of their topic in order to efficiently communicate their message. This needs a specific level of freedom, both in thought and expression. Nevertheless, the reality is that writers are never ever genuinely complimentary. They are constantly bound by the constraints and expectations of their craft. The very act of writing imposes restraints on them, restricting their creativity and forcing them to comply with certain conventions. This battle in between freedom and restraint is a constant battle for authors, however it is also what drives them to create significant and impactful work.
