"It is only when men begin to worship that they begin to grow"

This quote by Calvin Coolidge talks to the value of faith and spirituality in the advancement of a person. By worshipping, Coolidge suggests that we have the ability to open ourselves up to a higher power and to a higher understanding of ourselves and the world around us. This act of praise permits us to grow and establish in manner ins which we might not have actually been able to do otherwise. It is only when we want to open ourselves approximately something higher than ourselves that we can really begin to grow and establish. Praise is a method of connecting with something higher than ourselves and allowing ourselves to be available to the possibilities that come with that connection. It is just when we want to take that action that we can truly begin to grow and establish.
