We are all affected by the events that happen in other parts of the world, even if we are not straight included. It is a sad truth that people have to be shocked in this way, however it is a pointer of the significance of understanding our interconnectedness and the requirement to be knowledgeable about what is occurring in the world around us. We must acknowledge that we are all connected which our actions have repercussions, both great and bad.
