In this quote, Franz Kafka is recommending that sensuous love, or physical destination and desire, can be misguiding when it pertains to understanding the true nature of incredible love. He thinks that sensual love alone is not capable of deceiving somebody, however due to the fact that it contains elements of divine love, it can lead one to believe that it is the exact same. Kafka is indicating that sensual love may imitate the feelings and emotions of incredible love, but it is not the very same. He is warning against misinterpreting one for the other and emphasizing the value of recognizing the real essence of divine love.
