This quote by Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe speaks with the importance of curiosity and expedition. Believing is an important part of the knowing process, as it permits us to check out concepts and come to our own conclusions. Nevertheless, it is not as intriguing as looking, or actively engaging with the world around us. Understanding is the result of thinking and looking, however it is not as fascinating as the process of discovery. Believing is a necessary action in the journey of learning, but it is not completion objective. Looking and engaging with the world around us is the best way to really learn and understand. Goethe's quote encourages us to be curious and explore the world around us, instead of relying entirely on what we already know.
