"To be outspoken is easy when you do not wait to speak the complete truth"

This quote by Rabindranath Tagore talks to the difficulty of speaking the truth. It is easy to be outspoken when we do not need to stress over the consequences of speaking the whole fact. We can be vibrant and express our opinions without worry of judgement or criticism. Nevertheless, when we are confronted with the possibility of speaking the total truth, it can be intimidating. We may hesitate of the effects of speaking our minds, or we might be concerned about harming someone's feelings. Tagore is recommending that it takes courage to speak the fact, even when it is tough. We should be willing to take the risk of being honest and open, even if it means facing criticism or judgement. It is just when we are willing to speak the complete fact that we can really be outspoken.
